Quatech APXG-Q5420 Airborne™ Industrial 802.11b/g Wireless Access Point
& Serial Device Server offers the most flexible port configuration
options of any device in the market. It includes a 10/100 Ethernet port,
which supports both bridged and router modes, and up to two serial
ports. The serial interfaces provide compatibility with RS232/422/485
devices and allow simultaneous use of all the ports in any serial data
configuration. The external AirborneAP™Access Point also includes a wide
range power supply input (5-36 VDC) with terminal block and barrel jack
connections packaged in a rugged metal enclosure designed to meet an
extended operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC.
AirborneAP™ Access Point technology enables M2M equipment to become the
center of a self sufficient WiFi network, allowing easy access to
equipment data or resources from WiFi-enabled devices, including
laptops, tablets, and handhelds powered by Android, iOS, or Windows.
AirborneAP™ Access Point technology includes secure authentication using
WPA2 (AES-CCMP) and a fully functional DHCP server to provide unique
addresses for each authenticated client.
Quatech Airborne Industrial 802.11b/g Wireless Device Servers provide an industrial grade design (including extended operating temperatures) that gives Airborne the reliability and performance demanded in enterprise applications. Other features of Quatech Airborne Industrial Wireless Device Servers include compact form factor, low power consumption, and advanced security, including 802.11i-PSK, AES (FIPS-197), WPA2 Enterprise, WPA (TKIP), 802.1x/RADIUS and EAP support with certificates. The industrial unit includes a variable voltage power input supply (5-36 VDC) with terminal block connections packaged in a ruggedized metal box. Quatech Airborne Industrial Wireless Device Servers create a connection between an 802.11b/g wireless LAN and a device with a serial port.
The Quatech Airborne™ Enterprise Class External Wireless Device Server and Wireless Ethernet Bridge are part of the Airborne family of fully integrated 802.11b/g wireless LAN bridge and device server products designed specifically to provide wireless LAN and Internet connectivity to industrial, scientific, medical, and automotive applications. The Quatech Airborne Wireless Device Server creates a connection between an 802.11b/g wireless LAN and a device with a serial port. This wireless device server transparently conveys data between the device with RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 interface and a wireless LAN, enabling remote device monitoring and management via the LAN or Internet. The Quatech Airborne Ethernet Bridge creates a connection between an 802.11b/g wireless LAN and a device with a standard Ethernet port. The bridge transparently conveys data between a device with a 10/100 Ethernet interface and a wireless LAN without drivers or complicated addressing schemes.
