Pandaboard.org is the home of the low-cost single-board computer based on the Texas Instruments OMAP4430 processor. The PandaBoard features a dual-core 1 GHz ARM Coretex-A9 MPCore CPU and includes wired 10/100 Ethernet as well as wireless Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity. PandaBoard runs the Linux kernel, with either traditional distributions or the Android user environment.

PandaBoard ES is the next open OMAP™ 4 mobile software development platform. It is designed to provide access to as many of the powerful features of the Texas Instruments OMAP4460 Multimedia Processor as possible while maintaining a low cost. PandaBoard's integrated OMAP 4 features a dual-core ARM Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ with Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP) at 1.2GHz each. The OMAP4460 also provides Full HD (1080p) multi-standard video encode/decode. By providing expandability via onboard connectors, the PandaBoard ES OMAP4460 software development platform supports development of additional capabilities and functionality. PandaBoard ES is intended as a platform for development of mobile software. The OMAP 4 targets smartphones and other mobile device applications.
