OSRAM OSLON Black LEDs combines thermal stability with high performance and reliability in a compact black package. These LEDs have a metal lead frame and a tried and tested lens design. OSRAM OSLON Black LEDs can be used wherever there are large fluctuations in temperature and a large amount of light is needed from a small area.

Osram SFH4710 Oslon Compact IR

Osram SFH4710 Oslon Compact IR closes the gap between the low power IR of the TopLED and high power Oslon Black. This infrared light-emitting diode (IRED) features excellent heat dissipation properties, a typical output of 270mW, and can operate at high currents. The SFH4710 comes in the smallest package in its class (1.6 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.8 mm) – half the footprint of standard chips in the Oslon Black family. With high output, narrow angle (+/- 65°), and a ultra small package, the SFH4710 is ideal for applications including surveillance, gesture recognition, eye tracking, and more.

Osram Ambient Light & Proximity Sensor Reference Design

Osram ambient light & proximity sensor reference design harnesses the power of the Osram Matchbox Demo to showcases the SFH 7770 E6. The reference design features a two-in-one digital ambient light and proximity sensor, small high efficiency infrared emitters, and high-performance USB microcontrollers. This small but powerful reference design has eight different functions; 1", 4" and 6" proximity sensor, slide switch, rotary sensor, wave sensor, touch sensor and ambient light sensor.

OSRAM DURIS S 8 LED

OSRAM DURIS S 8 LED is a revolutionary compact high-power LED for indoor illumination, including directional and omnidirectional retrofit lamps. With high luminous flux out of only one small LED package, high forward voltage and high color consistency it provides totally new opportunities for all indoor lighting and especially directional retrofit applications. The DURIS S 8 allows different luminous flux packages with only one LED type. It saves costs on secondary parts within the luminaire, reduces assembly efforts and simplifies logistics. Compared to PPA packages, DURIS S 8 also offers higher lifetime and higher possible solder point temperatures. OSRAM DURIS S 8 LED optimizes driver efficiency and costs by combining a compact standard footprint with high lumen output due to 20-26 forward volts and forward current of 200mA.

Osram Mini Topled LEDs

Osram Mini Topled LEDs have been tailored to the demands of public and private passenger transport for high brightness and high quality. These LEDs combine pleasant white light with a much longer lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. Osram Mini Topled LEDs are among the most economical on the market, consuming only 0.1 W. From an operating current of 20 mA the Mini Topled achieves a typical luminous intensity of 1700 mcd at a color temperature of 4000 K, and 1900 mcd at 6500 K. Luminous intensity in candela corresponds to luminous flux in lumen emitted by a light source in a particular solid angle. This new generation of LEDs benefits from further developments in chip and package technologies resulting in continual increases in light output.

Osram Ostar Headlamp Pro

Osram Ostar Headlamp Pro is a compact light source in multi-chip on board technology with silicon casting. The Ostar Headlamp is designed for a seamless white color impression at a maximum brightness level. With its scalable brightness, it is perfectly suited to all functions where high brightness is needed. Osram Ostar Headlamp Pro is able to meet a wide range of requirements in terms of output and adaptability to ambient conditions. It offers a uniform light pattern, thermal stability and great brightness. The 20 x 20mm high-flux LED is available with two to four chips.

Osram Matchbox Demo

Osram Matchbox Demo with intelligent proximity sensing showcases the SFH 7770 E6, a two-in-one digital ambient light and proximity sensor, and small high efficiency infrared emitters.  The small but powerful demo has eight different functions; 1”, 4” and 6” Proximity Sensor,  Slide Switch, Rotary Sensor, Wave Sensor, Touch Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor.

OSRAM SFH 7776 Ambient Light and Proximity Sensor

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 7776 Ambient Light and Proximity Sensor with Integrated 850nm Emitter controls backlighting and touch functions in mobile devices. SFH 7776 features a detection range of up to 160mm and a programmable pulse current up to 200mA. The high sensitivity of this OSRAM detector eliminates the need for lenses to bundle the emitted infrared light and allows it to achieve a small height of only 1.35mm. SFH 7776 achieves extremely low power, consuming only 0.8mA in standby mode. The device also provides high ambient light sensitivity with a detection limit of 0.002 lux. This high sensitivity means the device can be used even behind dark casing panels.

OSRAM OSTAR® Projection Cube LEDs - Expansion

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has expanded their line of OSTAR® Projection Cube LEDs to include a new Phosphor Converted Green LED. The LCG H9RM green OSTAR Projection Cube LED has a dominant wavelength from 500 to 600nm, a luminous flux of 97 to 180lm, and offers a forward current of 100 to 500mA.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors OSTAR® Projection Cube & Compact LEDs are new high flux LEDs developed specifically for use in slim designs, especially projection applications. Their compact dimensions and capability to drive high currents make them ideal for applications with high luminance output. In addition to the usual point-like LED lighting solutions, linear or two-dimensional designs can be produced with only a small number of semiconductor light sources. These innovative OSTAR® Projection LEDs are exceptionally bright, long-lasting, and have no moving parts. They are highly robust and ideal for a wide range of equipment – from pico projectors to home cinema projectors and even office applications.

OSRAM Ambient Light & Proximity Sensors

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Ambient Light & Proximity Sensors are designed for a wide range of applications and can be used in situations where systems and equipment need to adapt to ambient light conditions or the presence of a user. This series includes both ambient light sensors and combination ambient light and proximity sensors.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors IR OSLON® Black Series LEDs - Expansion

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has expanded the IR OSLON® Black LED Series to include LEDs with a center of spectral emission at 940nm. These LEDs offer a total radiant flux of 935mW at 1A.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors IR OSLON® Black Series LEDs are the smallest infrared LEDs with more than one watt of optical power. The small package with integrated lens allows superior compact arrangements of very high power density. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors IR OSLON® Black Series LEDs feature Nanostack™ chip technology which allows the typical optical power to reach 1070mW at an operating current of 1A. Thanks to its adapted outcoupling lens with +/- 45º emission angle, the IR OSLON® delivers 15% more output power than components without a lens. These LEDs also offer lifetimes of up to 50,000 hours, even at high drive currents. The IR OSLON® Black Series is perfect for applications like CCTV, machine vision, night vision, or number plate recognition systems.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SOLERIQ® E Chip-on-Board High Power LEDs

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SOLERIQ® E Chip-on-Board High Power LEDs are a new product family of easy-to-use Chip-on-Board LEDs with high luminous efficacy. These LEDs are specifically designed for applications with high temperature operating conditions that require large flux packages out of a compact area. As a single component with the highest luminous flux, and no SMT assembly required, SOLERIQ E is much easier to use for lighting manufacturers. Available in all major color temperatures from 2700K up to 6500K, the high flux packages are ideal for downlights from 1500lm up to 4500lm. This new LED package delivers excellent color consistency within a 4-step MacAdam ellipse and a CRI greater than 80. These properties make the SOLERIQ E a highly efficient solution, especially for indoor lighting and downlight designs.

OSRAM OSTAR® Stage LEDs

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors OSTAR® Stage LEDs offer a much flatter profile, made possible by a flat glass cover with an anti-reflective coating. The new flatter profile, only 1.23mm high, allows these LEDs to provide the basis for compact spotlights with an extremely narrow beam and high luminance. The glass cover has been optimized specifically for injecting light into lens systems, enabling a very narrow light beam of +/- 9º to be produced. This beam is smaller by factor 2 than that of spotlights based on plastic-encapsulated LEDs, and also  increases the luminance of the spotlight by factor 2. The powerful OSTAR Stage LEDs are based on the OSRAM OSTAR SMT platform and contain four different chips in red, green, blue, and white, allowing them to produce virtually any color. All four chips are manufactured using efficient thin-film technology so that almost all the light produced internally is emitted at the top, and more light can be focused in the customer optics system. These LEDs are ideal for moveable stage lights which provide powerful light beams for rock concerts and other impressive lighting arrangements.

OSRAM DURIS® P5 LEDs

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors DURIS® P5 LEDs feature a footprint of 2.6 x 2.2mm, superior corrosion resistance for high-quality lighting solutions, and high maximum forward current of 200mA. These LEDs offer long lifetimes at high temperatures and high currents (L70/B50 > 50,000h at Tj = 125ºC and If = 200mA) and high efficacy of up to 110lm/W at 3000K. These features make the LED ideal for high-quality professional lighting applications.
