NTE was founded in 1979 and in 2001 acquired the ECG division of Philips N.A. NTE supplies aftermarket replacement parts for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) applications.

NTE replacement parts are best suited to replace an obsolete part when repairing outdated industrial, commercial or consumer electronic equipment. NTE replacement parts are also suitable for use in educational or hobbyist projects.

NTE replacement parts are NOT for design engineering use.

NTE replacement parts are NOT for production use.

NTE replacement parts should NOT be used to repair military, aerospace, automotive, medical or other critical systems.

NTE replacement parts are NOT certified by the original component manufacturer (OCM) and are provided without any OCM product manufacturing traceability, without any OCM 'date code' traceability and without any OCM factory warranty.

NTE replacement parts are aftermarket parts, and as such, have been reconditioned, remarked, and/or repackaged by NTE.

Product markings are NOT those of the original component manufacturer (OCM), but are NTE part numbers and NTE lot codes.
