Nichicon VA Series Functional Polymer Capacitors (FPCAPs) are conductive polymer aluminum solid electrolytic capacitors that have a resin-molded chip construction and improved frequency & temperature characteristics by using a functional polymer cathode. The VA series FPCAPs from Nichicon are part of a multi-series product family that offers low ESR at high frequency and high ripple current capability. The VA series FPCAPs have capacitance range from 15 to 220µF and voltage range from 2.5 to 25V.
Nichicon PM Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are high
reliability, extremely low impedance products that have a 5000 hour load
life at +105°C (3000/2000 hours for smaller case sizes) and are
compliant to the RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). The PM series features a
category temperature range of -55 to +105°C (6.3 to 100V), –40 to +105°C
(160 to 400V), –25 to +105°C (450V), a rated voltage range of 6.3 to
450V, a rated capacitance range of 0.47 to 15000μF, and a capacitance
tolerance of ±20% at 120Hz, 20°C.
Nichicon PA Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are high
ripple current and long life products with a lower impedance than the
Nichicon PW series. The UPA Series has a smaller case size and is
compliant to the RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). The PA Series features a
category temperature range of –55 to +105°C, rated voltage range of 6.3
to 35V, rated capacitance range of 180 to 10000μF and a capacitance
tolerance of ±20% at 120Hz, 20°C. After 1 minute's application of rated
voltage, leakage current is not more than 0.03CV or 4 (μA), whichever is
Nichicon CA Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are high
ripple current and long life products with a standing load life of 12000
hours(10000 hours for φD=10) at +105°C. The CA Series is suited for
ballast applications and is compliant to the RoHS directive
(2011/65/EU). After 1 minute's application of rated voltage, leakage
current of the CA Series is not more than 0.04CV+100 (μA).
Nichicon PW series aluminum electrolytic capacitors are miniature sized, low impedance, high reliability capacitors for switching power supplies. PW series capacitors have a smaller case size and lower impedance than the PM series. The PW series is also RoHS compliant and highly reliable with a lifetime rating of up to 8000 hours. Nichicon's PW series includes models with voltage ranges of 6.3 to 450V, capacitance ranges of .047 to 15000µF, and capacitance tolerances of ±20% at 120Hz, 20°C.
Nichicon CR Series Polymer Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors offer higher capacitance than the CX series with a capacitance range up to 2700µF. Other features of CR series polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon include high reliability, high voltage up to 100V, low ESR, high ripple current, and long life of 4000 hours at 125ºC.
Nichicon's CS Series is part of the new product line of
pencil-shaped type leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The CS
Series aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon offer capacitance
range of 18 to 270µF, voltage of 200-450V, miniature size, high
reliability, high ripple current, and load life of 10,000 hours at
+105ºC. These capacitors are suited for slim-designed products. They
are compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC.
