Nichicon's UPW Series Capacitor Design Kits include UPW Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors currently being used in Micro/Mini Inverters. Each UPW Series Capacitor Design Kit from Nichicon includes one voltage group of part numbers for a total of 3 kits (350V, 400V, and 450V). The UPW Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors included in Nichicon's Design Kits offer higher voltages that are typically more suitable for energy harvesting applications, such as solar and wind.

Nichicon's PZ Series is part of the new product line of pencil-shaped type leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The PZ Series aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon offer small size, capacitance range of 24 to 270µF, high rated voltage (200 to 450V), high ripple current, and load life of 2000 hours at 105ºC. They are suited for slim-designed products. These capacitors are compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC.
Nichicon CS Series Pencil-Shaped Type Aluminum Capacitors
Nichicon's CS Series is part of the new product line of pencil-shaped type leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The CS Series aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon offer capacitance range of 18 to 270µF, voltage of 200-450V, miniature size, high reliability, high ripple current, and load life of 10,000 hours at +105ºC. Nichicon GN Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors- Snap-In Terminal Type
Nichicon's GN Series Snap-In Terminal Type Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors offer a smaller case size than the GU Series and a 500V version. Nichicon's GN Series capacitors have a rated voltage of 160 to 500V, category temperature range of -40ºC to +105ºC (160 to 250V) and -25ºC to +105ºC (350 to 500V), rated capacitance range of 56 to 3300µF, and capacitance tolerance of ±20% at 120Hz, 20ºC. In addition, these RoHS-compliant, snap-in terminal type capacitors can withstand 3000 hours of rated ripple current application at 105ºC.
Nichicon CZ Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
Nichicon's chip-type CZ Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors operate in a higher temperature range (-40ºC to +125ºC) and have higher ripple, current, and voltage when compared to the CS and CK series. The RoHS-compliant, highly reliable CZ Series capacitors from Nichicon feature a low-temperature ESR specification, SMD mounting ability, long life, rated voltage range of 10-35V, and rated capacitance range of 47 to 470µF.
Nichicon Screw Terminal Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - NC Series
Nichicon's NC Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are available in an upgraded screw terminal version that offers smaller size and higher ripple current than the NX and NK series. Other features of the NC Series electrolytic capacitors from Nichicon include operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC, rated voltage range of 350 to 500V, rated capacitance range of 1000 to 22000µF, high-speed charge-discharge, and load life of 5000 hours of ripple current application at 85ºC. These RoHS-compliant capacitors are suited for use in industrial power supplies for inverter circuitry and high-frequency regenerative voltage for AC servomotor and general inverters.
Nichicon CV Series Conductive Electrolytic Capacitors
Nichicon's CV Series Conductive Polymer Aluminum Solid Electrolytic Capacitors offer high voltage and long life. Features of the CV Series Capacitors from Nichicon include rated voltage range of 16 to 63V, low ESR, high ripple current, load life of 3000 hours at 105ºC, category temperature range of -55 to +105ºC, and compliance to RoHS directive (2002/95/EC). In addition, the CV Series consists of SMD- type capacitors that offer lead-free reflow soldering at 260ºC peak correspondence.
Nichicon EDLC EVerCAP® Supercapacitors UW Series
Nichicon has expanded the EVerCAP® Supercapacitor line with the UW Series Electric Double Layer (EDLC) Supercapacitors. The Nichicon UW Series features radial leads and a rated voltage of 2.7V, one rank smaller than the UM Series. The EVerCAP Supercapacitors series is adapted to the RoHS directive (2002/95/EC) and has a wide temperature range from -25º to +70ºC.

Nichicon F98 Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors
The Nichicon F98 Solid Tantalum Electrolytic Capacitors are small, SMD resin-molded chips with high capacitance between 1µF and 100µF and rated voltages between 4V and 25V. The F98 Capacitors are RoHS compliant to directive 2002/95/EC.
Nichicon CL Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
The Nichicon CL Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are SMD chip type with low impedance and a temperature range from -55ºC +105ºC. The CL Series offers a rated voltage range from 6.3 to 35V and a rated capacitance range from 10 to 2200µF. Compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, the Nichicon CL Series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are compatible with automatic mounting machines fed with carrier tape.
Nichicon FPCAP Series Functional Polymer Capacitors
Nichicon's FPCAP Series Functional Polymer Capacitors are small aluminum solid electrolytic capacitors that offer higher performance (low resistance), greater reliability, large capacitance, high ripple current capability, and the reduction of high frequency noise. By using Functional Polymer cathod, frequency and temperature characteristics are greatly improved. The entire Nichicon FPCAP series is lead-free and complies with RoHS and are available in radial leads and SMD types. Ideal applications for the FPCAP series are switching power supply and DC/DC converters, buck up power supplies of CPU (VRM, etc.), and miniature high power supplies.
