    The AVX AU Series Gold-plated Termination MLCCs are the newest expansion of the extensive AVX MLCC line. The AU series is RoHS compliant and eliminates the use of tin and lead and the subsequent tin whiskering events on the PCB. The elimination of tin whiskering can significantly improve the performance and reliability of a system. The AVX AU Series Gold-plated Termination MLCCs offer a range of gold thicknesses for flash terminations (soldering applications) from 1.9µin to 7.87µin.
