Vishay Semiconductors IR Sensor Modules for Remote Control Systems are miniaturized sensors for receiving various kinds of modulated IR signals. They each consist of a PIN diode (two for TSMP77000) and preamplifier assembled on a lead frame, and the epoxy package is designed as an IR filter. Vishay Semiconductors IR Sensor Modules for Remote Control Systems operate on receiver carrier frequencies from 20kHz to 60kHz and offer improved shielding against electrical field disturbance. The IR sensors' modulated output signal, carrier out, can be used for code learning applications or as receiver for the synchronizing signals in active 3D goggles.
