Texas Instruments DM37x DaVinci™ Video Processors

Texas Instruments DM37x DaVinci™ Video Processors are a family of high-performance applications processors based on an enhanced device architecture and integrated on TI's advanced 45-nm process technology. This architecture is designed to provide best-in-class ARM and Graphics performance while delivering low power consumption. The balance of performance and power allows TI DM37x DaVinci applications processors to support a number of applications, including portable data terminals, navigation, auto infotainment, gaming, medical imaging, home automation, human interface, industrial control, test and measurement, and single board computers, among others. TI DM37x processors can support numerous HLOS and RTOS solutions, including Linux and Windows Embedded CE. This DaVinci device family is fully backward compatible with previous Cortex™-A8 Sitara and OMAP processors.

TMDSEVM3730 Evaluation Module

TI TMDSEVM3730 Evaluation Module enables developers to immediately start evaluating DM37x DaVinci processors and begin building solutions such as portable multimedia, portable data terminals, portable medical equipment, portable communications, home and building automation, navigation systems, test and measurement, smart displays, and human machine interaction (HMI) industrial interfaces amongst many others. The TMDSEVM3730 includes a DM3730 Processor Module, a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 Processor, a 800MHz DSP processor with IVA video accelerators 256MB MDDR/512MB NAND, a DM37x Software Development kit via included 4GB SD Card, and more.
