Texas Instruments MSP430FR58xx / MSP430FR59xx
Wolverine 16-bit FRAM MCUs
Texas Instruments MSP430FR58xx and MSP430FR59xx 16-bit microcontrollers are code-named "Wolverine" for their aggressive power-saving technology that cuts the power and energy consumption of MCUs by more than half. TI MSP430FR58xx / MSP430FR59xx Wolverine MCUs feature next-generation MSP430 architecture that achieves impressive power gains through its new 130nm ultra-low-leakage (ULL) process technology, and integrated low-power non-volatile FRAM memory. The devices also include advanced power management and precision low-power analog along with predictive power gating to supply power where it's needed, when it's needed. TI MSP430 Wolverine MCUs also feature optimized analog peripherals like a 12-bit analog to digital converter that runs at 75μA and a load adaptive LDO that matches current to expected usage.
