TE Connectivity SolderShield Splices
TE Connectivity's' Raychem SolderShield Splices are used to repair or splice shielded or coaxial cables. These splices consist of a MiniSeal crimp splice and a flux-coated, solder-filled copper shield braid encased in a transparent, heat-shrinkable sealing sleeve that provides a controlled soldering process, encapsulation, inspectability, strain relief, and insulation. TE's Raychem SolderShield splices also feature circumferential (360º) shielding, which provides EMI protection and shield continuity equal to or better than the original cable. In addition, the SolderShield splice's one-piece design allows easy and low-cost installation.
