STMicroelectronics STM32L EnergyLite™ 32-bit MCUs

STMicroelectronics STM32L EnergyLite™ 32-bit microcontrollers combine unique STMicroelectronics low-leakage 130nm process technology and optimized power-saving architecture to deliver industry-leading energy-saving performance. STM32L ARM Cortex-M3 based MCUs are part of the STMicroelectronics EnergyLite platform of ultra low-power products enabling designers to optimize performance, function, and battery life and meet efficiency-related criteria such as eco-design targets. STM32L MCUs consume only 0.27µA in lowest power mode and 230 µA/MHz in dynamic run mode. The STM32L151 and STM32L152 differ in that the STM32L152 features an LCD controller. These STMicroelectronics STM32L ARM Cortex-M3 MCUs feature 128Kbytes of Flash memory.

Ultralow Power Discovery Board

STMicroelctronics STM32L152C-DISCO Ultralow Power Discovery Board helps you to discover the STM32L ultra low power features and to develop and share your applications. It is based on a  STM32L152RCT6, and include an ST-Link/V2 embedded debugging tool interface, an LCD (24 segments, 4 commons), LEDs, pushbuttons, a linear touch sensor or touchkeys. The board power supply is through a USB bus or an external 3.3 or 5V supply voltage. This discovery board also includes two pushbuttons (user and reset) and and one linear touch sensor or four touchkeys.

STMicroelectronics STM32 L0 Ultra-low Power MCUs

STMicroelectronics STM32 L0 MCU has been optimized to achieve an outstandingly low power consumption level. An ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core and STM32 ultra-low-power features makes the STM32 L0 ideal for applications operating on battery or supplied by energy harvesting. The STM32 L0 offers dynamic voltage scaling, an ultra-low-power clock oscillator, LCD interface, comparator, DAC and hardware encryption. New autonomous peripherals (including USART, I²C, touch sense controller) reduce the load of the ARM Cortex-M0+ core leading to fewer CPU wakeups and contribute to decreased processing time and power consumption. Other features, such as 16-bit ADC (HW oversampling), crystal-less USB, short wake-up time and communication peripherals capable of operating in ultra-low-power mode make up for an unrivaled tradeoff between feature integration, performance and ultra-low-energy consumption. The STM32 L0 is available with up to 64 Kbytes of Flash, 8 Kbytes of RAM and up to 2 Kbytes of embedded EEPROM (no emulation needed) in 32- to 64-pin packages, including a space-saving WLCSP36.
