STMicroelectronics MEMS Audio Sensor Digital Microphones are ultra-compact, low-power, omnidirectional devices built with a capacitive sensing element and an IC interface. The sensing element, capable of detecting acoustic waves, is manufactured using a specialized silicon micromachining process dedicated to producing audio sensors. These devices have an acoustic overload point of 120 dBSPL with a best on the market 62.6 dB or 63 dB signal-to-noise ratio and -26 dBFS sensitivity. The MEMS Audio Sensor Digital Microphones comes in an SMD-compliant package and operates over an extended temperature range from -30ºC to +85ºC.
