The STMicroelectronics SPBT2x32C Bluetooth Modules are the smallest form factor available which provides a complete RF platform. These devices enable electronic devices with wireless connectivity, not requiring any RF experience or expertise for integration into the final product. The SPBT2x32C family of Bluetooth modules, being a certified solution, optimizes the time to market of the final application. These modules are designed for maximum performance in the minimum possible size including fast speed UART and up to 16 general purpose I/O lines, several serial interface options, and up to 1.5 Mbps data throughput. These modules are ideal for use in a variety of applications, including serial cable replacement, M2M industrial control, service diagnostic, data acquisition equipment, machine control, sensor monitoring, security system, and mobile health.

The STEVAL-SPBT2ATV2 demonstration board is a design tool to evaluate the SPBT2532C2.AT module in a quick and simple way. The dongle includes the RF antenna and the USB connector. The USB connector is used to connect the dongle to a PC, to access the Bluetooth module, and to supply the dongle. The STEVAL-SPBT2ATV2 is a board which has downloaded FW, enabling the user to create a Bluetooth link with simple AT commands.

The STEVAL-MKI115V1 has been designed to be plugged into STEVAL-MKI109V2 and to make it wireless. Thanks to the SPBT2532C2.AT module mounted on board and its AT commands, it is possible to easily establish a Bluetooth connection between the STEVAL-MKI109V2 and other Bluetooth devices such as a PC, mobile phone, etc. The STEVAL-MKI109V2 + STEVAL-MKI115V1 (FW version 2.x) are fully compatible with "Unico" PC software, allowing the user to wirelessly evaluate every sensor adapter board.

demonstration tool only, to be used strictly for evaluation purposes. It is not a product in itself.
