The STMicroelectronics' ARM® Cortex™-M3 Based STM32 F2 Series MCU is built on ST's advanced 90 nm NVM process technology with the innovative adaptive real-time memory accelerator (ART Accelerator™) and the multi-layer bus matrix offering an unprecedented price/performance trade-off. These ARM® Cortex™-M3 Based STM32 F2 Series MCUs are characterized by a high degree of integration combining up to 1 Mbyte of Flash memory and up to 128 Kbytes of SRAM with Ethernet MAC, USB 2.0 HS OTG, camera interface, and hardware encryption support and external memory interface. STMicroelectronics' acceleration technology enables these MCUs to achieve up to 150 DMIPS at 120 MHz FCPU which is equivalent to zero wait state execution, while keeping the dynamic current consumption at the outstandingly low level of 188 µA/MHz. Development tools are available.

STM3220G-JAVA STM32 F2 Series Evaluation Kit

STMicroelectronics' STM3220G-JAVA STM32 F2 Series Evaluation Kit is a complete platform to evaluate the development of embedded applications in Java for the STM32 F2 series microcontrollers. The kit is composed of the STM3220G-EVAL evaluation board and a DVD ROM which contains an evaluation version of the MicroEJ® STD edition. The MicroEJ® SDK is based on the Eclipse™ IDE and provides extended features to design and deploy embedded Java platforms. It is available in three editions. The STD edition facilitates design and test of applications fully developed in the Java language on referenced Java platforms (such as the STM3220G-EVAL board), whereas the PRO edition facilitates the build and export of new customized Java platforms. The EVAL version has various limitations. A Java demo is programmed in the STM32F207IGH6 microcontroller on the evaluation board.

STEVAL-IEG001V2 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-IEG001V2 Evaluation Board implements a smart vehicle tracking system reference design based on GPS/GSM/GPRS. The system is built around the Cortex-M3 STM32F20x microcontroller series. The system consists of a vehicle unit (installed inside the vehicle) and remote web server application where the vehicle status and movement data can be viewed in an intuitive way on the map. The vehicle unit is built around Cortex-M3 STM32 microcontroller, Telit GPS (SL869) module and SAGEM GSM/GPRS module. The vehicle unit gathers GPS information such as location coordinates, time, date, speed, in-journey distance traveled and satellites fixed and sends the data over GPRS to the web server application. This web application displays the current location and status information of the vehicle in OpenStreetMaps. The same information is displayed locally on the graphical LCD display. This unit features the following MEMS sensors: LIS331DLH 3-axis accelerometer and yaw/pitch/roll gyroscope L3GD20.
