Vishay Semiconductors VCNL3020 Fully Integrated Proximity Sensor with Infrared Emitter
Vishay Semiconductors VCNL3020 Fully Integrated Proximity Sensor with Infrared Emitter includes a built-in infrared LED and photo-pin-diode for proximity function. The 16-bit effective resolution for proximity detection range ensures excellent cross talk immunity. The VCNL3020 also features excellent ambient light suppression by signal modulation, an I²C bus interface, and digital output. The standard serial digital interface easily accesses the proximity signal without complex calculation and programming by an external controller. A flexible programmable interrupt pin is also available.
