Redpine Signals RS-XMEGA-220x 802.11n Wi-Fi Add-on Card for XMEGA-A3BU Xplained Kit is an IEEE 802.11n Wi-Fi card that can be used to quickly add Wi-Fi connectivity to applications based on the Atmel Xmega platform. It integrates a MAC, baseband processor, RF transceiver with power amplifier, frequency reference, antenna, and all WLAN protocol, configuration functionality, and a networking stack in embedded firmware to make a fully self-contained 802.11n WLAN connectivity solution for a variety of applications. The card can be plugged into a header on the kit and configured and operated using the kit as the host platform. The Wi-Fi add-on card comes with complete software, API-set, and documentation to assist developers in quickly integrating Wi-Fi. Demo applications along with source code are also provided to increase the ease and speed of integration and evaluation.
