The OSRAM SFH 4235 IR Stack Platinum DRAGON LED uses the new OSRAM thin film in-stack technology to provide almost double the power in the same compact DRAGON package. The OSRAM SFH 4235 IR Stack Platinum DRAGON LED uses two 1mm² thin-film chips stacked upon one another to produce nearly 1W of optical output power from a driving current of 1A. Because the package is the same as other DRAGON LEDs, the SFH 4235 IR Stack Platinum DRAGON can be used in existing designs without modification. The OSRAM SFH 4235 is part of the IR DRAGON family.
