OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 2270R Ambient Light Sensor

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SHF 2270R Photodiode features a nearly perfect match with human eye sensitivity. The recommended operating range for illuminance is between 5 and 100,000lx. It has a spectral range of sensitivity between 480 and 650nmm and a radiant sensitive area of 0.16mm². SHF 2270R is packaged in a black TOPLED® package.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 3711 Ambient Light Sensor


OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 3711 Ambient Light Sensor is a silicon NPN phototransistor with improved Vλ characteristics in a very small SMT Chipled package. This sensor features a spectral range sensitivity of 470 to 670nm and offers a good match to human eye sensitivity (Vλ). The SFH 3711's sensitivity to IR radiation (λ >750nm) is less than 1%. This sensor is ideal for applications such as ambient light detection, backlight dimming, and control and drive circuits.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 5711 is a high accuracy ambient light sensor in an SMT Chipled package with analog output. It offers a perfect match to human eye sensitivity (Vλ) with high accuracy over a wide illumination range. The sensor is an opto hybrid with logarithmic current output and a low temperature coefficient of spectral sensitivity. The SFH 5711 is automotive qualified, and is ideal for such applications as sunlight sensors, head lamp control, display backlighting, and mobile devices.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 7770 E6 is a two-in-one digital solution, featuring both a proximity sensor and ambient light sensor in one package with an I²C bus interface. Compared to its predecessors (SFH 7770 E4 and E5), the SFH 7770 E6 features a more sensitive proximity sensor—up to five times improved sensitivity—and improved ambient light sensor (sensitive down to 0.03lx). The SFH 7770 E6 is a compact device which is designed for simultaneous detection of ambient light and proximity of reflecting objects. Applications are mobile phones, PDAs, notebooks, cameras, and other consumer products.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 7773 Proximity & Ambient Light Sensor is a three-in-one digital solution, combining a digital ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor (emitter + detector) within one package. Additionally the sensor provides an I²C bus interface and an interrupt pin to connect it to a microcontroller. The SFH 7773 consists of an 850nm infrared (IR) LED and an ultra-low power ASIC which performs the signal processing and provides the I²C-bus interface as well as an interrupt alert function. Additionally the ASIC contains the two photodiodes for proximity resp. ambient light sensing.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH 7779 Ambient Light Sensor


The SFH 7779 combines a digital ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor (emitter + detector) within an ultra-small package. Additionally the sensor provides an I²C-bus interface and an interrupt pin to connect it to an microcontroller. The SFH 7779 consists of an 940 nm infrared (IR) LED and an ultra-low power ASIC which performs the signal processing and provides the I²C-bus interface as well as an interrupt alert function. Additionally the ASIC contains two photodiodes: one for proximity and infra-red ambient light and another for visible ambient light sensing.
