ON Semiconductor NCP694 1A CMOS fixed output, super low dropout linear voltage regulators are designed for portable battery powered applications with high output requirements up to 1A and -3mV typical load regulation at 1A. ON Semiconductor NCP694 voltage regulators contain a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a PMOS power transistor, resistors for setting output voltage, and current limit circuits for overcurrent and thermal shutdown. The chip enable function allows for a standby mode with ultra low supply current.

These ON Semiconductor linear regulators feature a maximum operating voltage of 6.0V and a minimum output voltage down to 0.8V (fixed version) and 1.0V (adjustable version). The NCP694 series is ideal for a variety of applications, including battery-powered instruments, hand-held instruments, camcorders / cameras, and portable communications equipment.
