UEI15 Series

The introduction of the UEI15 Series of DC/DC converters expands Murata Power Solutions' offering of isolated, wide input range DC/DC converters. Murata Power Solutions' UEI15 Series DC/DC converters provide excellent power density in just one square inch of board area, making them ideal for high-current applications where space is constrained. Other features and benefits of this series include 15W output, industry-standard packaging (0.96 in. x 1.10 in. x 0.36 in.), industry-standard pinouts coupled with wide input voltage ranges of either 9-36VDC or 18-75VDC, negative or positive logic polarity options, efficiency levels up to 89%, stable no-load operation with no external components, full magnetic and optical isolation of 2000VDC and 2250VDC that includes basic insulation, and regulated fixed output voltages from 3.3V to 15V. Both through-hole and SMD versions of the UEI15 Series are available.

Murata Power Solutions introduces the UEI25 Series of 25W output, 2:1 input range, 12V output, high-efficiency, isolated DC-DC converters. Featuring 25W output in one square inch of board area, Murata Power Solutions' UEI25 Series DC-DC converter offers efficient regulated DC power for PCB mounting. The low-profile 0.96" x 1.1" x 0.32" converters accept a 2:1 input voltage range of 36 to 75VDC, ideal for industrial and telecom equipment applications. The output can be trimmed up or down by 10% with an external trim resistor. The highly efficient design (up to 87.5%) ensures minimal power loss allowing "no-fan" operation. Both through-hole and SMD versions of the UEI15 Series are available.
