Murata GQM Series High Frequency Ceramic Capacitors
are typically used in applications with
high frequencies
from 500MHz to 10GHz, such as base stations for cellular, broadcast satellites, cable TV and telecommunication networks, PGS, Bluetooth®,and TV set-top boxes. Featuring improved low power consumption for mobile telecommunications, the GQM Series has copper electrodes that allow for ultra low ESR, high Q in the GHz frequencies and high RF current handling capability. The
Murata GQM Series High Frequency Ceramic Capacitors
is the best choice for high performance, high power RF designs requiring voltages up to 500VDC. Offered in EIA sizes 0603, 0805 and the new 1111 size with a capacitance range of 0.1 to 100pF, there are a variety of tight tolerance versions available.
GQM22 Series
The
Murata GQM
Series includes the advanced
GQM22 Series
- the
world's first 500 Volt, High Q MLCC
with base metal electrodes. Ideal for high frequency applications such as power amplifiers for base stations, the advanced capacitor also provides low equivalent series resistance (ESR). Developed using
Murata
's new base metals technology and superior co-fired ceramic materials, the
GQM22
series eliminates problems normally associated with base metal electrodes while providing improved features. The new
capacitor
does not require characteristic adjustments, an issue common with other base metal electrode high voltage
capacitors
, yet it offers a 40 percent improvement in
Q
at 1Mhz compared to general-purpose medium and high voltage capacitors. In addition, the
GQM22
series(2.8mm x 2.8mm x 1.15mm) affords capacitance ranging from 0.5pF to100pF and can be used for tight tolerance products around a capacitance tolerance of B(±0.1pF) and C (±0.25pF). These features are best for matching or coupling circuits used in applications such as power amplifiers for mobile communication, WiMAX and LTE base stations, as well as other related high frequency RF modules, and will help improve the high frequency characteristics of the equipment.
