Murata KCM and KRM Series
Metal Terminal Capacitors
Murata is proud to announce the introduction of the KRM and KCM Series MLCCs, metal terminal capacitors designed to offer increased reliability for thermal and mechanical stress. Both the KRM and KCM series from Murata offer space-saving benefits and high capacitance value by stacking two MLCCs and are RoHS compliant. The KCM Series MLCC is immune to PCB flexure in automotive applications by way of metal pins with an elastic action that reduces the impact to which the capacitor elements are subjected. The KRM Series capacitor for power supply circuits has ferric alloy terminals that lift the capacitor up to 1mm above the PCB, thus eliminating the transmission of bending forces between the capacitor and PCB.
