Molex DuraClik™ 2.0mm Pitch Wire-to-Board Connectors

Molex DuraClik™ 2.0mm Pitch Wire-to-Board Connectors

Molex DuraClik™ 2.0mm (.079") Pitch Wire-to-Board Connectors are designed for on-board instrumentation applications that operate in high vibration environments. Introduced as a more robust solution compared to most standard 2.00mm pitch systems, the DuraClik single row, right-angle SMT, positive lock connectors feature an audible and tactile click to confirm mating, as well as polarization features to prevent mis-mating. The secure inner-lock system ensures complete connector locking, prevents lock breakage during handling, and provides space savings over outer-locking systems. A wide solder tab allows DuraClik to provide resistance to an upward pull force of 100N (10kgf), and gives secure PCB retention in high-vibration applications.

Standard Wire-to-Board Connectors

DuraClik Standard Wire-to-Board Connectors feature a positive inner-lock design that provides space savings and prevents latch breakage from wire tangling. The standard connectors also have an enclosed terminal design that protects against dust and debris.

Features and Benefits

Inner positive-lock design

Provides secure mating and space savings; prevents latch breakage from wire tangling

"Click" sound when mated

Audible mating confirmation

Wide solder tabs designed and tested to SAE Automotive vibration standards

Provides secure PCB retention that can withstand upward pull force of 100N (10kgf) to meet automotive vibration requirements

Independent Secondary Lock (ISL) terminal retainer

Provides up to 50N of terminal retention force and helps position terminal

Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) terminal retainer

Provides up to 30N of terminal retention force and helps position

Enclosed contact design

Protects contact against dust and debris; avoids tangling during harness assembly

Operating temperatures up to 125 degrees C (ISL and TPA versions)

Protects contact against dust and debris; avoids tangling during harness assembly

Open area for direct pick-and-place assembly

Supports automated board placement without the need for Kapton tape

Gold plated terminal (standard version only)

Higher durability for repeat mating cycling

Inertia-lock latch design (TPA version, 2-8 circuits)

Requires higher insertion force at earlier part of mating to help prevent incomplete mating
