MikroElektronika EasyPIC™ v7 for dsPIC30® Development Board is a powerful, well organized, seventh generation dsPIC® development board with an on-board programmer and debugger. The new system is convenient for a wide range of dsPIC30F microcontrollers produced in DIP packages. dsPIC30F microcontrollers are 16-bit high-performance digital signal controllers suitable for advanced motor control algorithms, digital power converters, and speech and audio applications. The EasyPIC v7 for dsPIC30 is delivered with the dsPIC30F4013 device, and covers many internal modules needed for development of DSP applications, including the on-board programmer and debugger, CAN support, temperature sensors, display connectors, and six I/O groups. The board is suitable for students, hobbyists, enthusiasts, and professionals.

dsPIC30F4013 Default Microcontroller

dsPIC30F4013 is the default chip of the EasyPIC v7 for dsPIC30. It comes with 30 MIPS operation, 48Kb of program memory, 2048 bytes of SRAM memory, and 1024 bytes of EEPROM memory. This MCU has 24-bit wide instructions and 16-bit wide data path. It's also loaded with great modules, including 30 general purpose I/O pins, 12-bit analog-to-digital with up to 13 channels (ADC), 5x16-bit and 2x32-bit timers, 2xUART, 1xSPI, 1XI2C, 1xCAN, and 16-bit compare/PWM output functions. dsPIC30F4013 has two 40-bit wide accumulators with optional saturation logic, 17-bitx17-bit single hardware fractional/integer cycle multiplier and all DSP instructions are single cycle.
