mikroElektronika MINI-M4™ Development Board for Stellaris®

MikroElektronika MINI-M4™ Development Board for Stellaris®

MikroElektronika MINI-M4™ Development Board for Stellaris® is a small ARM® Cortex™-M4 development board containing the LX4F230H5QR microcontroller. This powerful miniature development tool is pin-compatible with the PIC16F887 and PIC18(L)F45K20 microcontrontrollers, and is designed to work as stand alone device or as MCU card in the standard DIP40 socket.

The board is equipped with a 16MHz SMD crystal oscillator and 32.768KHz crystal which can be used for internal RTCC module. It also has a reset button and three signal LEDs. The MINI-M4 for Stellaris comes preprogrammed with fast USB HID bootloader, so no external programmers are needed for development. It operates on 3.3V power supply, and an on-board voltage regulator allows the board to be powered directly from a USB cable.

  • LX4F230H5QR, ARM 32-bit Cortex™-M4 CPU with FPU,
up to 256KB Flash, 32KB SRAM
  • Two quadrature encoder interfaces, frequency up to 80MHz, and 16 PWM outputs
  • USB 2.0 On-The-Go support Signal LEDs, Crystal oscillator, and Reset button on board
  • Supports CAN communication

  • DIP40 substitute for PIC16 and PIC18 MCUs working on 3.3V, thus adding exponentially more power to target device
  • Pin compatible with PIC16F887 and PIC18(L)F45K20
  • Comes preprogrammed with USB bootloader
  • Perfectly fits into DIP40 socket
  • Fully supported in mikroE ARM compilers

  • Power supply: 3.3V via pads or 5V via USB
  • Power consumption: depends on MCU state
(max current into 3.3V pad is 800mA)
  • Board dimensions: 50.8 x 17.78mm (2 x 0.7")
