Microchip Technology PIC18F27J53 / PIC18F47J53 USB microcontrollers (MCUs) provide up to 128 KB Flash program memory and 3.8 KB RAM, offering plenty of code space for the free Microchip USB stack and application code. PIC18F27J53 / PIC18F47J53 MCUs feature XLP technology that drastically reduces the the amount of power consumed. These Microchip Technology USB MCUs also feature full-speed USB 2.0 capability that enables applications that can perform remote field upgrades, download usage data, and connect to diagnostic equipment.

PIC18F27J53 / PIC18F47J53 MCUs include integrated mTouch™ sensing capability that enables easy implementation of capacitive touch sensing user interfaces. PIC18F47J53 MCUs are ideal for portable applications requiring USB capability. An on-chip 12-bit ADC delivers the accuracy required for many advanced sensor, instrumentation, and measurement applications.

Microchip PIC18F4XJ5X USB Demonstration Board

The Microchip Technology PIC18F4XJ5X Full-Speed USB Demonstration Board is designed as an easy-to-use evaluation platform for Microchip’s full-speed, USB PIC18F4XJ5X families of microcontrollers. The board can be operated as a stand-alone device. Alternately, for additional demonstration functionality, the board can be used in conjunction with the PIC18 Explorer Board or PICDEM™ HPC Explorer Board. All members of the PIC18F4XJ5X families of microcontrollers fully support USB 2.0 full-speed and low-speed serial communications at signaling speeds of 12 Mbps or 1.5 Mbps. The demonstration board package provides all of the hardware and software needed to develop USB compliant communication solutions.
