Microchip PIC24FJ256DA Flash MCUs

Microchip Technology PIC24FJ256DA 16-bit Flash Microcontrollers (MCUs) integrate three graphics acceleration units and a display controller along with 96KB of RAM. These highly integrated Microchip Technology MCUs reduce system cost and make it practical to add advanced graphics displays for a wide range of embedded applications by eliminating the need for external RAM and a display controller. PIC24FJ256DA devices also feature integrated peripherals for USB and capacitive touch sensing. The Microchip Technology PIC24FJ256DA MCU family also features 24 channels of on-chip mTouch™ capacitive touch sensing, which enables a large number of buttons, sliders, and keys.

This Microchip development board is an ideal platform for developing graphical human interface applications. The development board requires a display board to complete the 2-board setup. It has a Microchip display connector V1 and allows developers to match with a Microchip 3.2" or 4.3" TFT display or graphics prototype board. The development board also provides a complete interface to MPLAB ICD-3, MPLAB REAL ICE, and MPLAB PICkit-3 Emulator and Debugger.
