Microchip MCP794XX Real-Time Clock/Calendars are stand-alone RTCC s with 64 bytes of SRAM and up to 2 Kbits of EEPROM, including a user-lockable section of EEPROM that can be factory-programmed with a MAC address. Features include digital trimming, power-fail time stamp, and battery-switchover. MCP794XX RTCCs are ideally suited for smart energy, home appliance, automotive, and consumer electronic applications.

MCP7940N RTCCs

Microchip 's MCP7940N Real-Time Clock/Calendar features 64 Bytes SRAM, digital timing compensation, programmable output control, and a power sense circuit for battery switch-over. The MCP7940N RTCC tracks time with an economical 32.768 kHz crystal and communicates via I2C ™ bus. Four selectable frequencies are available using the programmable CLKOUT. The MCP7940N Real-Time Clock/Calendar from Microchip operates in either 24-hour or 12-hour format with settable alarms to the second, minute, hour, day of the week, date, or month.
