Maxim Integrated DS3231M I²C Real-Time Clock

Maxim Integrated's low power DS3231M is the industry's first temperature-compensated Real Time Clock with internal MEMS resonator. This Maxim Integrated low-cost, extremely accurate, I²C RTC incorporates a battery input and maintains accurate timekeeping when main power to the device is interrupted. The DS3231M provides timekeeping accuracy of ±5ppm (±0.432 second/day) from -40ºC to 85ºC and complete calendar functionality, including seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with leap-year compensation. The DS3231M includes two time-of-day alarms and also features 1Hz and 32.768kHz outputs. This RTC is optimized for use in power meters and industrial applications, and reduces crystal mechanical failure susceptibility.
