Honeywell SMART Position Sensor is the most accurate and durable linear position device available in the industry, enabling highly accurate motion control and improving operation efficiency and safety. Offering a 75mm and 225mm linear configuration, the SMART Position Sensor is a non-contacting sensing solution for linear absolute position sensing - sensing from 0mm to 75mm (0 in to 3.0 in) and 0mm to 225mm (0 in to 8.86 in). This Honeywell SMART Position Sensor has the ability to self-calibrate and self-diagnose to reduce equipment downtime. Small in size, the position sensor meets IP67 and IP69K for use in a variety of harsh applications in the aerospace, medical, and industrial industries.

What makes the SMART Position Sensor smart?
SMART means that this is a sensor that can essentially think for itself.
It has the ability to self-calibrate because it uses a patented combination of an ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) and an array of MR (magneto-resistive) sensors to accurately and reliably determine the position of a magnet attached to a moving object (e.g., elevator, valve, machinery, etc.) so that the object's position can be determined.
