High-Speed Serial Interface Technology for Image Transmission

Hirose Electric FH41 & FH48 Series 0.5mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connectors support high-speed serial interface technology for picture transmission and next-generation chip V-by-One® HS by THine. The FH41 and FH48 Series feature an exclusive GND terminal design, impedance-matched shield FFC ground contacts, and high-speed transmission rates using a differential impedance of 100Ω±10% (3.75 Gbps max.). Highly reliable mechanical and electrical connections are achieved using Hirose Electric's proven design features including precise FFC/FPC positioning, flip-lock rotating actuator, durable construction, and tactile confirmation lock to assure a secure connection. FH41 & FH48 Series 0.5mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connectors are offered as right angle and vertical connectors respectively with the FH48 Series utilizing the same FFC as the horizontal FH41 Series connectors.

Following the structure of the proven FH28 Series , the FH41 Series achieves high reliability due to the FFC positioning mechanisms and robust lock structure. The FH48 Series from Hirose Electric are 0.5mm pitch, 2.5mm above the board vertical connectors. The FH48 Series utilizes the same FFC as the horizontal FH41 Series connectors and accepts impedance-matched shield FFC ground contacts. Features include LIF structure FFC tabs to enable high connection reliability.
