Hirose Electric ZX62 Series Micro-USB Connectors are extremely small high reliability connectors designed to comply with physical, electrical and environmental requirements of Micro-USB standard (USB 2.0). ZX62 Series Micro-USB Connectors provide a high-speed data transfer rate of 480 Mbps and are 60% smaller than standard Mini-B connectors. The unique contact and lock configuration ensure high durability up to 10,000 cycles as well as easy insertion / disconnection. Available in a wide variety of mounting and termination configurations, designers can use ZX62 Series receptacles and plugs in a wide range of applications. ZX62 Series is especially well-suited for applications such as mobile phones, PDA, portable music players, digital cameras, digital camcorders, and other applications requiring high reliability Micro-B interface connectors.

  • Size reduction - approximately 60% smaller compared with the standard Mini-B connectors
  • High-speed data transfer of 480 Mbps as specified in USB 2.0
  • Receptacle styles - Two interface configurations: Micro-B and Micro-AB in standard, mid-mount and reverse mounting styles SMT and through-hole (shell) PC board terminations
  • Plug styles - Correspond to the receptacle styles, two interface configurations: Micro-B and Micro-A, with direct wire or PCB wire soldering. Several plug styles can be used for data transmission, earphone or charging applications
  • High durability - Unique contact and lock configuration assures high durability while maintaining easy insertion / disconnection
  • Fully mated condition (when mated with corresponding HRS connector) is confirmed by a definite tactile sensation
