GLS85LD / GLS85LP PATA NANDrive™ Embedded SSDs

The award-winning family of embedded solid state drives (SSDs) integrate Greenliant's industrial grade ATA controller with one or more NAND flash die in a small, multi-chip package. PATA NANDrive is an ideal replacement for high-density parallel NOR flash, CompactFlash card and PATA HDD designs that require smaller, higher security and more reliable data storage. It also can be seamlessly integrated in systems that do not have an ATA interface by connecting the device to a standard memory bus. The devices have the same 91-ball footprint with 1mm ball pitch across all capacities for backward compatibility, and are available in commercial and industrial temperatures. Industrial temperature (-40 to +85 degrees Celsius) PATA NANDrive is offered with 2-bits-per-cell (MLC) or 1-bit-per-cell (SLC) NAND to meet varying customer requirements for lifespan, endurance and performance. Greenliant's SLC NAND-based, industrial grade NANDrive products offer 10x the lifetime compared to typical MLC NAND SSDs and are qualified for the most demanding applications. The enhanced features and small form factor of NANDrive give ultimate flexibility for data storage design—no extra connectors are needed.
