Fairchild LED Driver Evaluation Boards
Fairchild Semiconductor LED Driver Evaluation Boards make ease in implementing Fairchild's new FL7730, FL7701, & FL7732M LED Driver's capabilities. The FEBFL7701 evaluates all 7701 applications, where the FEBFL7730L is used in 90-140V applications, the FEBFL7730H in 180-265V applications, and the FEBFL7732 is used in 90-265V applications.
The FL7701 LED lamp driver is a simple IC with PFC function, which can automatically detect the input voltage condition and use it as a reference to achieve high power factor correction. The PFC, normally disabled for DC operation, is automatically enabled when an AC signal is detected.
The FL7730 is a PFC controller that uses single-stage flyback topology, allowing no flicker dimming by way of an analog sensing method. Efficiency and design simplification is achieved with proportionally changing the operating frequency with respect to the output voltage. The FL7730 is ideal for open-LED, short-LED, and over-temperature protection applications.
The FL7732 is a highly integrated PWM controller that provides several features to enhance the performance of low-power flyback converters. The proprietary topology, TRUECURRENT™ enables simplified circuit design for LED lighting applications.
Each of these LED Drivers reduce the need for external components such as a bulk capacitor and feedback circuitry which minimizes cost and increases stability. These LED Driver Evaluation Boards from Fairchild Semiconductor are available for your evaluation and purchase and are intended only for your evaluation, design and testing purposes, not for high volume and/or end product usage.
