Exar's XR20M1280 Single-Channel UART Evaluation Boards support the evaluation of the Exar XR20M1280 Series UARTs. The XR20M1280 Series are single-channel I2C/SPI Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) with integrated level shifters and 128 bytes of transmit and receive FIFOs. Exar's XR20M1280 Single-Channel UARTs have user selectable default mode configuration (I2C or SPI) and are available in three different packages (QFN-24, QFN-32 and QFN-40). These Exar XR20M1280 Single-Channel UARTs are also available with three different configurations of number of GPIOs (4, 8 or 16)
