DLP Design USB Adapter Module

The DLP Design DLP-USB232R USB-UART USB adapter module and DLP-USB245R USB-FIFO USB adapter module are the smallest and lowest cost modules to date that use FTDI´s 4th generation FT232R and FT245R silicon. Both DLP Design USB adapter modules are available in a lead-free (RoHS compliant), compact 18-pin, 0.1-inch standard DIP footprint and offer the FTDIChip-ID™ permanent serial number. The DLP-USB232R and DLP-USB245R enable standard USB-to-serial or standard USB-to-FIFO designs. Asynchronous and synchronous bit-bang interface modes are also available. The DLP-USB232R has an internally-generated clock (6 MHz, 12 MHz, 24 MHz, and 48 MHz) that can be brought out of the module and used to drive a microcontroller or external logic. The DLP-USB245R features fully integrated 1024-bit EEPROM storing device descriptors and FIFO I/O configuration.
