Digi International XBee-PRO XSC RF Modules are 900MHz modules capable of deploying point-to-point, peer-to-peer, and point-to-multipoint networks. Designed for maximum range, the XBee-PRO XSC is ideal for solutions where RF penetration and absolute transmission distance are paramount to the application. With XBee®, users can have their network up-and-running in a matter of minutes without configuration or additional development. Once the network is running, XBee-PRO modules can accept simple AT commands for advanced configuration.

New! Digi International has expanded its line of XBee-PRO® XSC RF Modules. The latest XSC S3B modules feature two times the throughput and 20 times less current draw than the previous XSC modules, making them ideal for long-range sensor applications. The new modules each feature an ADF7023 transceiver from Analog Devices, delivering best-in-class distances up to 28 miles Line-of-Sight (LOS), along with low power consumption, drawing less than 2.5uA in power down. The latest XBee-PRO XSC (S3B hardware) allows for several firmware options which are firmware compatible with the legacy 9XStream® and the legacy XBee-PRO XSC modules. Digi's free X-CTU configuration utility simplifies the configuration of the XSC module, which requires no programming. In addition, it can be easily configured via a simplified AT command set. Digi International XBee® & XBee-PRO® 868 are RF Modules designed for 868MHz European applications.

XBee 868LP modules are high-performance, low-power modules which can run either a proprietary DigiMesh® or point-to-multipoint networking protocol utilizing a low-power Energy Micro microcontroller and an Analog Devices ADF7023 transceiver, which offers industry-leading interference blocking. The XBee 868LP operates between 863MHz and 870MHz, making it deployable in several regions throughout the world including approved European countries and India by utilizing a software selectable channel masking feature.

The XBee 868LP for Europe is also the industry's first RF module using 868MHz and surrounding frequencies for LBT + AFA (Listen Before Talk and Adaptive Frequency Agility). This virtually eliminates interference by listening to the radio environment before any transmission starts, and automatically shifting to a new channel when interference is detected. This patent-pending frequency scan occurs automatically and in a matter of microseconds so as not to impact performance.

The XBee-PRO 868 modules support RF line-of-sight distances up to 80km. These modules are ideal for challenging wireless environments where RF penetration and transmission distance are critical to the application.

Digi International XBee® & XBee-PRO® DigiMesh 2.4 RF Modules deliver end-point device connectivity with a globally deployable 2.4GHz transceiver. These XBee modules are ideal for low-power, low-cost applications. The XBee-PRO modules are power-amplified versions of the XBee modules for extended-range applications. The XBee and XBee-PRO DigiMesh 2.4 share hardware with the XBee and XBee-PRO 802.15.4 modules. As a result, these modules can be "converted" from one platform to another by loading different firmware onto a given module.
