Critical Link MityARM-3359 ARM Cortex-A8 SoM is a highly configurable, small form-factor processor card that features a Texas Instruments Sitara AM3359 Processor. The module includes NAND FLASH and DDR2 RAM memory subsystems. Critical Link MityARM-3359 ARM Cortex-A8 SoM provides a complete and flexible CPU infrastructure for highly integrated embedded systems. The onboard AM3359 processor provides Cortex-A8 32-bit RISC processor with a NEON SIMD coprocessor and 3D graphics accelerator. This MPU is capable of running a rich set of real-time operating systems containing software applications programming interfaces (APIs) expected by modern system designers. The ARM architecture is supported by several operating systems, including Linux, QNX, and Windows CE.
The MityARM-335x Development Kit is also available, offering support for the AM335x based modules from Critical Link. The kit comes with a MityARM-3359 module and includes a base board that features a strong array of interfaces such as USB, Debug RS232, Dual UART Expansion ports, HDMI Video Only Output, Audio Input/Output, MMC/SD, 8-Channel ADC and Dual CAN Bus interfaces. The MityARM-335x Development Kit includes both RS232 and RS485/422 expansion modules to use with the Dual UART Expansion ports.
