Bourns TCS™ High-Speed Protector Products
Bourns TCS™ High-Speed Protector Products offer superior transient protection for very high data rate differential lines. TCS High-Speed Protectors can be used with low capacitance Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) devices to provide an extremely low let-through energy barrier against excessive voltages that may damage high-speed, low voltage driver and receiver components during surge events.The Bourns TCS High-Speed Protector can block voltages up to 40 V. This enables very low voltage electronics to be protected by a lower capacitance, higher voltage TVS device, thus achieving very low capacitive loading on high-speed signal lines.
Bourns TCS DL Series features dual,well-matched, low resistance, bidirectional Transient Current Suppressors (TCS). The Bourns TCS DL device protects Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and VDSL applications against faults caused by short circuits, induction, and lightning surges by limiting the maximum current to a safe level.
Bourns TCS High-Speed Protector Products are offered in a space-saving, surface mount DFN package that meets industry-standard requirements including RoHS and Pb Free solder reflow profiles.
