AVX Multilayer Organic Capacitors (MLOCs)
AVX is proud to introduce the new Multilayer Organic Capacitors (MLOCs) based on AVX's patented multilayer low-loss organic (MLO) technology. These low ESR microwave organic caps from AVX are polymer-based and use high conductivity copper interconnects in a multilayer configuration. These capacitors can be fabricated on large area substrates and state-of-the-art, laser-direct imaging, creating improved cost benefits and tolerance control. In addition, these low-profile RF capacitors can support frequencies above one GHz and are expansion matched to printed circuit boards for improved reliability. Primary features of AVX's MLOCs are low ESR, high SRF, Hi-Q®, high self resonance, and tight tolerance. Applications that utilize these capacitors are RF power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, and filter networks.
