Saf-D-Grid Line Power ConnectorsAnderson Power Products has designed the Saf-D-Grid Line Power Connectors to replace traditional IEC C14 power connectors in DC applications. The Saf-D-Grid Power Connector from Anderson Power Products is an innovative new design in plug and receptacles that features a touch safe shell with locking mechanism and a first mate/last break ground for a more secure and safe connection in a similar footprint to the current IEC C14 connections. Saf-D-Grid Connectors were designed for use with data servers and in other industries where the growing trend is DC power storage only. The Saf-D-Grid Power Connectors are also AC rated, have power handling capability for 20 amps instead of 13 amps with traditional IEC C14 connectors, and are hot-plug rated for both electronic (capacitive) and electrical (resistive) loads.
