Abracon Ultra Low Phase Noise Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs) contain High "Q", 3rd Overtone Crystal Technology and have an ultra low phase noise of 162 dBc/Hz Typ. @ 10kHz offset, 100MHz carrier. Their available frequency range is from 50MHz to 156.25MHz. These VCSOs are best suited for satellite modem communication systems, COTS - military communications, avionics, low phase noise signal sources, high definition TV, test & measurement and ultra low Jitter RF Communication Circuitry.

Abracon Frequency Divider Evaluation Board

Abracon Frequency Divider Evaluation Board is designed to facilitate engineering evaluation of Abracon’s Ultra Low Noise – ABLNO series of fixed clock and voltage controlled crystal oscillators. Further, there is a provision through the RF_IN SMA Connector to supply any other oscillator signal between 10MHz and 200MHz; if the ABLNO series is not being characterized.

Ideal to conduct the following measurements:
  • Phase Noise and rms jitter for ÷1, ÷2, ÷4 and ÷8 frequency outputs
  • Frequency Pull Characteristics of the ABLNO by using the Vc port as the control voltage
  • Frequency Stability over operating temperature (-40ºC to +85ºC)
