Texas Instruments TUSB7320 and TUSB7340 USB 3.0 xHCI Host Controllers are designed to interface to a host system via a PCIe x1 Gen2 interface and provide SuperSpeed, high-speed, full-speed, or low-speed connections on downstream USB ports. TUSB73x0 devices are among only four host controllers in the industry that are USB 3.0 certified. The TI TUSB7320 USB 3.0 xHCI compliant host controller supports up to two downstream ports while the TUSB7340 host controller supports up to four downstream ports. The downstream ports may be independently enabled or disabled and have adjustments for transmit swing, de-emphasis, and equalization settings. TI TUSB7320 and TUSB7340 SuperSpeed USB host controllers support input frequencies between 20MHz and 50MHz and feature best-in-class adaptive receiver equalizer design. TUSB7x30 devices are optimized for use in notebooks, desktop computers, workstations, servers, and more. The TI TUSB7320EVM and TUSB7340EVM are free-standing reference designs for the TUSB73x0 HCI Host Controllers.
