Switching Regulator

Texas Instruments TPS55340 is a monolithic non-synchronous switching regulator with integrated 5A, 40V power switch. TI TPS55340 can be configured in several standard switching-regulator topologies, including boost, SEPIC, and isolated flyback. This switching regulator has a wide input voltage range to support applications with input voltage from multi-cell batteries or regulated 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 24V power rails. TPS55340 regulates the output voltage with current mode PWM control and has an internal oscillator. The switching frequency of the PWM is set by either an external resistor or by synchronizing to an external clock signal. The user can program the switching frequency from 100kHz to 1.2MHz.

TI TPS55340EVM-017 evaluation module is a fully assembled and tested circuit for evaluating the TPS55340. TPS55340EVM-147 evaluation module helps designers evaluate the performance of the TPS55340 DC/DC boost converter in a SEPIC topology.
