The Texas Instruments TPS54478 is a full-featured 6V, 4A synchronous step-down current mode converter with two integrated MOSFETs. The TI TPS54478 step-down switcher features two 30mΩ MOSFETs for high efficiency at 4A loads and provides 200kHz to 2MHz switching frequency. This TI step-down current mode converter provides accurate regulation for a variety of loads with an accurate ±1% Voltage Reference (VREF) over temperature. The TI TPS54478 step-down switcher is designed for use in low-voltage, high-density power systems and point of load regulation for high performance DSPs, FPGAs, ASICs, and microprocessors.
