Texas Instruments TPS54394 / TPS54395 3A synchronous step-down switchers are dual, adaptive on-time D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converters. TI TPS54394 / TPS54395 step-down switchers enable system designers to complete the suite of various end equipment's power bus regulators with a cost effective, low component count, and low standby current solution. The main control loops of TPS54394 and TPS54395 step-down switchers use D-CAP2 mode control, which provides a very fast transient response with no external compensation components. The adaptive on-time control supports seamless transition between PWM mode at higher load conditions and Eco-mode™ operation at light loads. Eco-mode allows TPS54394 and TPS54395 to maintain high efficiency during lighter load conditions. These TI devices are ideal for use in Point-of-Load regulation in low power systems for a wide range of applications.
