Texas Instruments CC2541 2.4-GHz Bluetooth® System-on-Chip (SoC) is a power-optimized true SoC solution for both Bluetooth low energy and proprietary 2.4-GHz applications. TI CC2541 enables robust network nodes to be built with low total bill-of-material costs. CC2541 combines the excellent performance of a leading RF transceiver with an industry-standard enhanced 8051 MCU, in-system programmable flash memory, 8KB RAM, and many other powerful supporting features and peripherals. CC2541 is highly suited for systems where ultralow power consumption is required. This device is specified by various operating modes. Short transition times between operating modes further enable low power consumption.

CC2540DK Development Kit

Texas Instruments CC2540DK Development Kit provides a complete hardware performance test platform and generic software development environment for single-mode Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) applications. The kit includes two CC2540-based RF evaluation modules, one CC2540-based USB dongle, and general purpose development boards (SmartRF05EB). It also includes software and hardware for prototyping, cables, antennas and documentation to get you up and running with the CC2540 quickly and easily. The CC2540 evaluation modules can be plugged into the SmartRF05EB boards, which are included in the development kit. The evaluation modules can be used as reference modules for prototyping and for verifying the performance of the CC2540 RF IC.

CC2540TDK-LIGHT BLE Light Development Kit

Texas Instruments CC2540TDK-LIGHT Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) (Bluetooth Smart) Light Development Kit is intended for customers who would like to evaluate BLE lighting control for LED light products. This helps them develop simple applications and demonstrators based on this standard. The kit contains the needed hardware to evaluate and develop BLE lighting solutions. The hardware works out-of-the-box with the TI BLE Multitool iOS app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.

CC2541DK-MINI Development Kit

Texas Instruments CC2541DK-MINI Development Kit provides a working reference design for software development of single-mode Bluetooth low energy (BLE) applications based on the Texas Instruments CC2541. The included "keyfob" board operates as a BLE peripheral device, and contains modifiable software that can be tailored towards different applications. Using BTool (Windows PC application) along with the included CC2540 USB Dongle, the Texas Instruments BLE stack can be tested and verified while developing custom applications.

CC2541DK-RC Bluetooth Smart Remote Control Kit

Texas Instruments CC2541DK-RC Bluetooth Smart Remote Control Kit provides a reference platform for Bluetooth low energy remote control application development. It is based on TI's CC2541 Bluetooth low energy device and contains the hardware and tools required for evaluating, developing, testing, and debugging remote control applications. The kit includes an advanced programmable remote control capable of 6-axis motion sensing (3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope), a USB dongle and a debugger. The advanced remote and USB dongle come pre-programmed with their respective HID-over-GATT profile roles and HID report service, including keyboard, consumer control keys and mouse reports. The sample applications are included in the Bluetooth low energy software stack.

CC2541EMK Evaluation Module Kit

Texas Instruments CC2541EMK Evaluation Module Kit contains two CC2541 Bluetooth low energy Evaluation Modules. These can be used either as standalone modules (requires a power source and a simple carrier board like the SoC Battery Board or connected to the kit (i.e. the SmartRF05EB Evaluation Boards (included in the CC2540DK) for full control from the PC. The evaluation modules can be used as a reference board for prototyping and for verifying the performance of the CC2541 RF IC.

GASSENSOREVM Gas Sensor Evaluation Platform

Texas Instruments GASSENSOREVM Gas Sensor Evaluation Platform with Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) is intended as a reference design that customers can use to develop end-products for consumer and industrial applications. These applications can be to monitor gases like carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O2), ammonia, fluorine, chlorine dioxide and others. The BLE adds a wireless feature to the platform that enables seamless connectivity to an iPhone® or an iPad®. Customers can easily replace the targeted gas sensor based on their application, while keeping the same analog frontend (AFE) and BLE design. The system runs on a CR2032 coin-cell battery. An AFE from TI (LMP91000) interfaces directly with the electrochemical cell. The LMP91000 interfaces with CC2541, which is a BLE system on a chip.
