Texas Instruments BT-MSPAUDSINK-RD Bluetooth and MSP430 Audio Sink Reference Design can be used to create a variety of applications for low end, low power audio solutions. Application possibilities include toys, low end bluetooth speakers, audio streaming accessories, and more. This audio IC dev tool enables Bluetooth audio (SBC encode/decode) with the low cost, low power TI MSP430F5229 microcontroller. The BT-MSPAUDSINK-RD reference design offloads audio processing from the MCU to the Bluetooth device, enabling low power audio. This TI reference design is a cost-effective audio implementation and, with full design files provided, allows designers to focus their efforts on application and end product development. Software supported on this reference design includes Stonestreet One Bluetopia Bluetooth stack (certified and royalty free).
