Texas Instruments ADS8555 16-bit, Six-Channel ADC

Texas Instruments ADS8555 16-bit, six-channel simultaneous sampling analog-to-digital converter contains six low-power, 16-bit, SAR-based ADCs with true bipolar inputs. Each channel contains a sample-and-hold circuit that allows simultaneous high-speed multi-channel signal acquisition. The TI ADS8555 ADC supports data rates of up to 630kSPS in parallel interface mode or up to 450kSPS if the serial interface is used. The bus width of the parallel interface can be set to 8 or 16 bits. In serial mode, up to three output channels can be activated. The TI ADS8555 ADC is designed for use in a variety of applications, including power quality measurement, protection relays, and multi-axis motor control.
