Texas Instruments ADS7863 12-bit ADC

Texas Instruments ADS7863 Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) have two independent 12-bit ADCs in one package allowing for throughput and simultaneous sampling. The TI ADS7863 dual, 12-bit, 2MSPS ADC has four fully differential or six pseudo-differential input channels grouped into two pairs for high-speed, simultaneous signal acquisition. This architecture provides excellent common-mode rejection of 72dB at 100kHz, which is a critical performance characteristic in noisy environments. Evaluation module available.

ADS7863EVM Evaluation Module

The TI ADS7863EVM Evaluation Module uses a circuit board that will evaluate the TI ADS7861, ADS8361, and ADS7863 12-bit and 16-bit analog to digital converters. The ADS7861 operates from 5 volts for AVDD and DVDD while the ADS8361 operates from 2.7V to 3.6V for AVDD and DVDD . The ADS7863 operates from 2.7V to 5.5V for AVDD and DVDD . The TI ADS7863EVM evaluation board has a 500kSPS, 12-bit/16-bit serial output. The analog inputs can be configured single-ended or differential. The eval module includes a built-in reference and a high-speed serial interface.
